I had the pleasure of having Stephen assist me in obtaining silent and live auction items for our St. Jude World of Hope Dinner & Auction from 2005 until 2010. He was able to secure a variety of autographed guitars, tambourines, photographs, books, and more, from many well-known musical artists, such as ZZ Top, Tom Petty, BB King, Bonnie Raitt, and many others. Often, he was able to provide free tickets to concerts, with special meet and greet opportunities. Through his hard work and dedication to St. Jude, he helped St. Jude raise approximately $60,000 throughout the years.
My daughter Kelsey was a St. Jude patient who relapsed from a serious brain tumor in 2006. She loved Bonnie Raitt. Stephen was able to connect with Bonnie’s manager to secure tickets to her concert in Indianapolis for our family. She was kind enough to agree to meet with us as well. It was a lovely visit and a high point for Kelsey, who passed several months later. Stephen took photos of Kelsey and our family with Bonnie that we will forever treasure.
He was kind enough to take the effort to bring other St. Jude patients and their families to a variety of concerts and meet and greet opportunities over the years. Many of those entertainers are now St. Jude supporters.
Stephen is an amazing photographer and is very professional. I would highly recommend him.
